Fantastic game - well worth the price
Now by far my most played game on steam at 128 hours! Can see me dipping into this for years. The game is deceptively simple, but there is layer upon layer of strategic depth. After several weeks I just hit level 6 in the online league. I no longer feel a beginning, but I am very far from mastering it.

People complaining about the DRM are really missing out. Take the plunge and join the fun!

seconded, this game is like the greatest unrecognized gem on steam for me
I agree :)
Thank you very much!!!
Well said!
I agree fully! :-)
Indeed a fine game, but that is no excuse to hide your DRM from buyers.

And definatly no excuse to gracelessly argue with them and tell them to do your work for you by contacting Valve.

Why not? The information of the DRM is not important for normal players, just very few players will install it on 6 PCs and not getting a new code from support...
Anyway...1 of the users has moderator-rights here, because my posts are being deleted regularly, and it was not Cooler! (have asked him)...So this user can easy update the page, if you think it´s so important that it´s shown...
Agree with OP, finally I took a chance on an indie game and it's one I actually play every day. That hasn't happened for me since FTL. Most indie titles I pick up, even the highly-reviewed ones, turn into virtual paperweights. The DRM issue should not dominate discussion of this game. I think it's a bad move to limit the number of installs personally - nothing thwarts pirates, they simply find ways around DRM and the paying players are the ones stuck with limitations unheard of even 5 years ago. But that's enough about that. If you have one or two stable computers, you'll never worry about this issue. And if it is preventing you from buying and playing, well, that's your loss in the end really. This is a great game. Simple but strategically deep, stable, affordable, fun.

How about we let customers decide what is important to them and what isn't?

Well, the reason DRM talk has dominated the discussion is for two reasons:
The Activation Limit DRM was hidden from buyers beforehand and when asked to put this information up, the dev here stated that he wouldn't because he "personally doesn't mind DRM" and told his customers to do it for him.

Well, I did it for him. And I'm glad to know that the DRM is now listed on the website, which I consider a win for those who wanted it listed despite it being almost 5 years late, but atleast before the summer sale.

As for the DRM itself, people want to know for several reasons, the least of which being that upgrading a PC component and reinstalling burns an activation, and if/when Three Donkeys (I assume) closes its doors, you may not be able to play your singleplayer portion of the game. According to the dev here, you shouldn't expect to enjoy that 5 years from now. It's just not important to -him-.
