Mission in demo rather obscure

The drone launcher demo is rather weird, I followed instructions to use map select the target and fly to but once at destination... Nothing clear.

It sead once you get closer it will launch drones for you to shoot. Whats unclear?

I am at it, staring at the drone launcher, occasionally shooting it, the mission description doesn't change, no drones launched. What am I doing wrong?

ah, there we go. fly back to the ISS, then click the little space station icon and NOT the blue mission thing (so the target appears between the two), Fly To.
