Game volume?
I have my system usually on 33% volume (i.e. the slider's a third of the way up), and this is typically fine but I like to turn the volume down on games, particularly as I use headphones. Games like Surgeon Simulator just deafen me because they're *so* loud.

Is there any way that a volume slider rather than on/off settings could be implemented?

I'm working on that as we speak - looks like it's working fine, so expect to see it in the next update, early next week. :)

Oh, excellent! And thank you for the quick reply.

This and the controller update should be really good, I think.

Hey, you may already be aware of this but if you right-click on the speaker icon in your system tray and open the volume mixer you can adjust the volume for individual applications!

Does that only work whilst they're active, or is it saved? It's a good idea, but a bit of a faff.

Yeah, it's not the most elegant solution but it gets the job done. I just checked after a reboot and it saved my volume level for the game so you should be alright, just don't forget to set it back to normal when the update hits.

Just following this up. If you set a title ABOVE your system volume, it bumps the system volume up, which is seriously irritating (and not your fault, I know).

Hm. But I'm sure the patch will help.

Should do - you can set the volume to whatever you like, and that value gets saved / loaded too.

Oops, should have clarified that I meant 100% relative to the system volume and not actually 100% on the slider ;~;
