I want to add my quick experience with this demo. I'm hoping it will help answer some questions and get a better sense of where this is going. I like the artstyle, but the demo is offputting. The starting UI is very weird and there is no "go" button. You should consider launching the player into the game with the standard load out after they have time to mess with the settings with a big "Play" button. Then give a tutorial on how to upgrade.
