Basically, we who have BOUGHT the game to play are forced into limited gameplay OR pay extra for subscription. Kinda feel screwed by TRION

It never had a subscription, and there's still no subscription announced. The ONLY thing changing is the base game will be free now. All the content (expect the min-expansions) will still be free to you. You're definitely not going to be limited as a previous owner. That would be the dumbest move possible from them.

All new and existing box copy owners will receive boosts, character shots, keys, and currency.

You're still getting more than free players just from being a current owner.

You won't be losing out on anything if you don't get it though, you're actually going to gain some stuff from being a buying owner.

Seems like the currently availabe DLC will remain as a separate purchase for now (no idea if it'll change at all or not), but any content updates after the switch won't be DLC that you purchase.

Yes, updates like the consolified clunky piece of ♥♥♥♥ of a user interface which they have managed to make even worse than how it initially was.

Or are you referring to their wonderful weapon balancing? Yeah, that must be it.
