Gnomoria

Multithreading, and what it can mean for this games users!
Ok, so we all know that sooner or later, you hit lag, that lag grows and grows, soon, you may have to re-start your kingdom! Be it huge mines or huge pops of gomes, be it gobs or orge spaming, your going to hit lag, but "why?" you ask, you have a super beefy PC, and it only uses 30-38% of your PC, why does it lag? Theres no multithreading!!! Thats what is makeing us lag! If you want kingdoms with 500 gomes, we need multithreading!

Really, theres no multithreading and thats why we are laging!

Robo bob, we need multithreading

Most likely not going to happen as I am pretty sure the core of the game would have to be redone. Honestly I have never ran into lag and had a kingdom with over 250 gnomes, so I am not sure what PC's people are using but they must be fairly low end processors since I am just using a I5-4670 though it is 3.4ghz per core. I dont really see a need for 500 gnomes anyways, as usually by the time I have over 150 I get bored of that kingdom anyways since your basically unstoppable because there is no real end-game content yet.

I have not gotten over 50 gomes, the only thing that makes me lag is makeing a ton of jobs for mineing.

Are you strip mining each level completely? I have heard that causes some bad lag issues. I tend to just mine pockets of resources I need.
