Report a translation problem
it must have the support! we will all have our native language in the game!!!
show me your support instead to say me to make another useless account for a forum which i'll go one time in my life
Well, to be honest: I have no need for the game to be in my native language, it would be an okay-feature, but it's not that much language driven, right?
I mean, ye the plot of this epic story is pretty deep, but it does not have that much text to read, so the chances of missunderstandings are pretty low.
To be honest: Even people that do not speak english at all can play the game without problems, as soon as they use "google translate" for every word they don't know. Most written things in gnomoria are single words, sometime you will find a whole sentence like "the goblin has died".
And that's it.
Besides that: translating gnomoria into other languages will be a lot more work than it seems, just think about all this gibbish names for lands/legendary items/ infamous enemies and so on.
I'm looking forward to steam workshop and mod support in general, this game has so many possibilities that robobob can't do them all alone. That's the problem when there is only one dev on a game.
Have you ever read the "what new features would you like to see"-thread here in the forum? There is enough great sounding content ideas in there to develop the game further the next 20 years if robobob has to do that all alone. Mod support will help a lot there.
Robobob doesn't come to steam very often. I've posed the question about steam workshop on the offical forums here[forums.gnomoria.com]. You can read up on the discussion or join the forum and contribute your own thoughts.
Gods, no! I like to be able to play Gnomoria without needing steam.
AFAIK, steam workshop only applies to mods made for the steam version. The author can release the mods to steam alone, another party alone, or both together. I don't think steam workshop would affect your being tied to steam.
remember dude : YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE PERSON IN THIS WORLD.
some people doesn't know how to write "hello how are you?"
play a game it's a right of all.
and remember : more languages = more people could buy the game = more money for the devs.
As far as i am aware the Steam Workshop requires Steamworks, and with Steamworks we are losing the current feature of Gnomoria actually being completely DRM free. So unless someone has proper documentation that the Steam Workshop can be integrated into Gnomoria without Gnomoria losing its DRM feature i will maintain that it one of the worst things to happen to Gnomoria.
Shackling the game to Valve's service just to get a little convenience in form of the Steam Workshop, is nothing i could support in any sort of good conscience.
