every day im getting mants now like i dont even have 1000 excess food yet im getting mants daily in 3s or 4s

Mants will appear regardless of food and drink, they just appear in higher numbers when you have over 2000 food AND drink - so if your drink stocks are high that might be the problem, but as your KW goes up mants are gonna show up regardless.

Not sure about the frequency.

You really need to look for those mant scouts during the day and kill them before they leave the map at night. Daily attacks are a little strange because scouts shouldn't appear during an invasion, hence you get attacked every other day.
