WON'T STARTUP! HELP!!!!!!!!!

So I literally JUST bought this game, haven't even played it because everytime I hit play, it says windows can't open this game, that something's wrong! PLZ HELP

try going into your files and clicking the thing that says Windows (C:) then search octodad then open it from there.

You could try to change the system_videodriver value to "3" rather than the defualt "4", the settings for the game located in your C drive where the octodad foulder is located, this so far has worked for me, but if that does not work, you could try a different number other than 3

I am having the exact same problem and its really annoying because I had to pay for this game

I figured it out actually, go into your program files, go to steam, then steamaps, then common, then click the octodad folder, then hit the application. It works now!
