TL;DR - Set your resolution to 720x480 and refresh rate to 59hz, the sprites (more noticeable on the bats themselves) in the game shrink down to compensate for the resolution. The last boss is outrageously hard even on normal difficulty, what kind of nonsense is this? Do you hate the game and the players so much you would go so far as design sucha frustrating boss fight? This is way harder than the snes version. No one same would design a normal mode boss fight that takes 20-30 attempts to kill....
