This game confuses me - Combat also the different 2001,2009 modes

First the combat..I die quickly at the start.. is really weird and hard to get used to.

Also, in the options is some 30:17 or 4:3 mode but choosing either looks the same...then there is chronicles or complete mode but also both look the same...

What am I missing?

bump combat just takes some practice depending on how old you are
i played a few bump combat games as a kid and i still wasnt really accustomed to it again until i hit the second game in this pack, so just hang with it for now

also for the chronicles versus complete i mostly remember ui differences

The combat is getting easier now...having armor and a weapon sure helps haha.

The other stuff I never could figure out the difference. I am at the Shrine boss right now and no clue how supposed to win that fight.

Watch for the pattern of fire on the floor and go for one hit at a time!

I found this last night and it worked, thanks :)

Combat gets much easier as you learn and play. It's a nice change of pace and I appreciate what it was in it's time. Am up to past the second boss now (the worm thing)
