I had no problems in the past getting DCS game toload and start...
Now when I try to start the game I get a lack screen then it goes to load and then stops and closes. I get No message or problem code of any kind..

to add.. My spelling was so wrong... I try to start DCS and my screen go to like 800x600 and freezes... I have ran DCS on this same computer with no problems, I have changed no settings from the last times I was on DCS. I cannot connect on stream to DCS nor can I get the downloaded version of DCS to connect ... Am I the only one having this problem...
I do run a couple other sim /flight games with no problem suck as WOW and WT.

DCS has new graphics engine now.
If your computer does not meet requirements you can go back to using older 1.2 version.

I followed your lead and went to my folder etc...
- Find Steam library DCS World entry in your Steam client.
- Right Mouse button menu -> Properties
- Select tab BETAS
- Select option 'final-32bit-1.2.16 - The last 32-bit version'

I searched and searched and can not find the location of a tab that says BETA... can anyone be more specific as to where it may be. I found Stem /DCS and a lot of other folders there but nothing that says BETA. Also How is it that you say #@ BIT VERSION. I am running win 7 64 bit.

It would really be nice if the builders of DCS and Steam would have the older version available for download.... and a warning telling us the new will probably not work for most of us unless we go out and spend a few hundred to upgrade things or get e new computer.

It looks like they are going to be losing a lot of customers and money by not having it..

There is. It is called "System requirements". If you don't meet the required system requirements the title won't run properly. Not exactly rocket science.

I doubt Eagle Dynamics will lose any money because of this. Their customer base is growing steadily and has done so since the Lockon days.

As it says in step one... It sounds like you are searching the DCS-folder...

I think I already posted about this once but post does not appear anywhere.. Oh well.

When you are using Steam client, look at top for "Library".
In the library, right-click on DCS World and select properties.
This opens a window, in there select tab BETAS.
And there select the 1.2 from a dropdown.

Old one is available and there was a lot of time to prepare for new version.
