Can't get past language selection
I launch the game and select english. Then nothing happens. I see a background and after 10 minutes, the game still responds to no input of any kind and I have to alt-tab close. Any suggestions?

My friend and I just purchased the game and are having the same problem. We haven't found a way to fix it and play yet.

Same issue here. Select language, hit ok....blank screen with my cursor, nothing else but the background image.

I made a post on the official forums as well. Hopefully we'll hear back soon. I'll let you know if they give a me a solution over there.

Launch the game directly, I get slightly further. Instead of just language selection, I'm prompted to pick an existing account or new....if I hit new....nothing happens.

(Launch directly is go into your steam folder, Steam\steamapps\common\AirBuccaneers

Had same problem. Restarted Steam, and got past it. But then it happened again, when trying to connect to a game.

Same thing I just bought this game, empt screen when I select "Start" after selecting English.

I have the same problem. Restarting, repairing won't work.
Starting directly from the game directory won't work either.

When validating game files, it says that one file didn't validate correctly and that it needs to reaquire. Unfortuneately, it doesn't seem to be doing that.

Just bought the game, exact same problem. Boot game up > English > Empty Screen with just the background image. This is awful so far.. I was hoping for a good game to recommend to friends so we can have a team based game to play.. Dev, care to help us all? (If you're reading)

The same thing is happening to me and this is disappointing. I was looking through the forums and saw the same questions posed but no reply from the dev. What a crap shoot...

Well I've emailed them pointing them to this discussion + the problem. I advice everyone else to, then if we don't have any joy (give it a week?) ask Steam for your money back. They will then MAKE the dev's sort it, or remove them from Steam.

This reminds me of these Kickstarter games where they get funding, then just give up on the project after getting the £ :(

Devs, come sort it and prove my thoughts wrong!
