The game is free to play[www.ludocraft.com], but if you like it you should buy it because premium accounts have some extras.
what? it's free to play? But it says you have to buy it on its store page. Me is confused
Buying the game allows you to do everything properly.
Oh I see, ok thanks for your help my good sir :)
So? worth it to get it or no? be honest please
Hmm, from my limited time with the game (3 hours or so) i have liked what i've seen. Graphically it isn't too impressive but it has a nice and unique art style which makes up for it. The game runs well and there is something satisfying about gunning down enemy ships. The boarding mechanic is fun but the sword combat is incredibly basic with only a swing attack, powered swing attack (both share the same animation) and a block (which is never used). It can get 'samey-samey' after a while as you're only really shooting down enemy ships and there is little to no tutorial or learning introduction as it basically throws you in on the deep end. Having said that you pick it up after a while and there is a certain charm to the game, it certainly isn't perfect, but it has character and isn't your run of the mill game which i approve of.
That's good to know, i admit i am an abismal pilot and having a tutorial on techniques and tactics would be quite valueble
