"Back" Button

One thing this game could really use is a "back" key.

First I really miss such a key for getting out of all the UI "modes" you constantly have to bring up: the map, the tab info, and the watch / compass thing. I constantly hit the wrong key to get out of them, a single "go back" / "escape" key would me much more intuitive.

The second place it would be useful is navigating the book...you might click on research, flip to a plant, then click that entry to flip to the detailed plant page. But then you find its not the plant you were looking for, but instead of being able to go back a step, you have to start all over.

If there is such a key, and I'm just being stupid, someone please let me know! A few more hot keys like to drink would be nice too.

That doesnt answer the need for a unified key to get back to the normal view, and it doesn't get me back to the page I was at last in the journal, it just gets me one step in from where I'd be when first hitting tab.
