Not sure about now but it did require a log in to play which initially put me off the game. Although they've recently removed that need for single player games so the demo might have been tweaked as well.
For everyone else: just try the free demo http://www.minerwars.com/Downloads.aspx
>> Realism and survival are key aspects of gameplay. Inventory and the way you use resources such as fuel, ammunition, oxygen, ore, and weapons are important when surrounded by dozens of warring factions. - Realism, like how everything is found in boxes in space. Okay.
>> The gameplay is driven by an epic story and offers a choice of single player, co-op, and death-match multi-player. - Epic story? I guess if you hired a high school english teacher to write it.
>> Mining and Exploration – Players are encouraged to explore and harvest. -Explore what? Empty space?
>> RPG-like / Survival game-play - Except you don't play a role, you're a faceless dude you know nothing about, and the "survival elements" are "where is the next fuel box"
Fix your steam page so it's no longer misleading.
