hey everyone. first post of my new account! This game looks tres cool and I'm glad the community got this game on steam. Has anyone played descent? Released in the mid ninties and I swear this could be Descent HD or something...which aint a bad thing jus saying... ;)

There's a demo that was quite fun if you wander over to the website.

Not sure about now but it did require a log in to play which initially put me off the game. Although they've recently removed that need for single player games so the demo might have been tweaked as well.

As far as I know, only the steam version works without the initial login (not the demo).

Still don't. The game feels like it was rushed. The storytelling elements aren't there, the damage scaling is silly, there isn't any meaningful exploration. Graphics are poorly optimized, and the co-op is haphazard.
