The discussions surrounding this game seem to deal in absolutes and may unnecessarily discourage players to experience that is rare and, while far from perfect, surprisingly pleasant.

Yes, the developers made a couple of disappointing mistakes. I believe the game was released too early and still feels a bit unfinished to me. The initial always-online DRM made people rightfully upset and in order to contain the sh*tstorm the developers may have been a bit too eager to silence the more vocal voices.

But to their credit, they addressed almost all of these issues. The DRM was dropped, offline play is now possible and judging from the negativity in these forums, they are a lot more unwilling to interfere with an open discussion.


The game itself has its issues, it's certainly less approachable than you would expect. I personally would have hoped for a bit more handholding and a lot less "WTF am I doing" moments. But it's still a unique experience and an ambitious project worthy of everyone who misses the good old days of Descent and Wing Commander ... so please, give it a shot, you most likely won't regret it.

First time i try that game.

I don't understand; it look like my mouse is bugged, the control isn't good.

Happen only in that game. I don't want to play it anymore because control are soooo bad.

Demky, how did it seem your mouse was bugged? I have found it to be smooth and responsive, so maybe a bit of troubleshooting can make it easier. What kind of mouse are you using?

I'm using a Razer Naga, it work fine in every game I own.

Actually playing Tomb raider and there is no problem; when I did just try miner war mouse were *****

@DemKy I don't know what could be the problem, I am quite confident that the controls in MW are good.

But you could try:
1) disabling VSync in Video Options (in game)
2) lowering Rendering Quality (set to Very Ugly) - just to see if this isn't performance issue
3) try to run the game in Window mode (via Video Options)

i dont suggest using a mouse, id use a thrustmaster t flight hotas x. its my choice of flight.

Have to agree it play very well. Only played about an hour yesterday and done the first 2 missions but no problems with it, mouse and keyboard controlls worked fine. Looks amazing in Eyefinity at 5760x1080. Posted a couple of screens but you may have to scroll them if on 1 monitor.
