These guys advertised this thing like they were putting serious effort into it, and I bought into it thinking it would be like Descent, which it sort of is, but halfway through development of the features they were planning to add later (like more weapons, MMO, etc) they just completely dropped the project to work on Space Engineers... Don't get me wrong, SE is cool (I have not bought it, after these guys ripped me off) but I feel like MW2081 is half done, as most of the features they wanted to add got left behind in favor of crashing giant ships into rocks for fun. >.>

Seriously, I want a refund.

seriously get your refund and buy space engineers your missing out by not buying it, its so much fun. i love space engineers but i've never once destroyed my creations. i personally don't know why anyone would.

They won't give me one. Steam is impossible to get refunds from. Miner Wars 2081 was supposed to include the Miner Wars MMO when it came out, but it never did, and they have a thread saying they'll exchange Miner Wars MMO purchases for Space Engi. I tried to do that but they refused, saying that MW2081 isn't the same as MW-MMO, which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as 2081 should have included it. Don't buy from these shady idiots. There are alternatives.

Yeah I was wondering what the hell happened to this game. Wasn't this the game showing up on other sites as an Alpha, that they wanted you to buy into to the tune of $60? And apparently because they were promising some kind of open world salvage and exploration experience along with combat missions, sounded like a dream of a space game, I considered buying it may times.

Picked it up for $5, and I'm really puzzled what happened here.

Yeah they ripped off a ton of people with this and used the revenue from it to make Space Engineers which they're making a killing off of, while us early adopters got the axe. Great marketing right there.

I'm not whining, just warning other would-be customers of this game's developer's of their behavior and unreliability. The term is "review."

Or I'll thank you right now. That looks outfreakin' standing. They even have a ship that looks like the Pyro GX. *drools* graphics could use some work but hey, it's better than this crap. Gonna buy that next week. Thanks again for the tip.
