Thank you for 3 years of support and gameplay! The team at Dark Vale couldn't have done it without you! Unfortunately, it's expensive to keep a game live. And without additional investment, we're forced to take a bit of a hiatus. We're hopeful that things turn around and we can get back to work on building out the Forge Universe. And if any of you know a Daddy Warbucks, please send him our way!

This is actually something that has been requested frequently since 2012. I believe the official response was something about enforcing rules to do with exp exploiting and achievement farming, at least that was the reason it hasn't been done untill now.
(I personally beleive everyone should be able to host anything they want, ranked only on official servers)

As to if it will happen, I highly doubt it seeing as I haven't been able to make contact with the person/people who could make this happen since roughly the 23rd December.

There is no chance of Forge being resurrected in any way at this point. They have tried multiple times to resurrect it and were incredibly unsuccessful every time. I wish it wasn't so, but it is time to let Forge go.

I wouldn't say there's "no" chance. They're going to fish around for funding for Ymil for a while, most likely. If/when that fails, they may consider selling the IP. If it doesn't fail, then who knows--maybe that game will earn enough to reboot Forge.

Slim chance, but it isn't zero. Honestly, I know they love their Forge baby, but this might be a case of "if you love it, let it go."

dont put dedicated healer clases in pvp games. if one team does not pick the healer class and the other one does, the game turns into crap. you have no guarantee that both teams will pick the healer class.

Oh... Just stopped playing for a month, i loved this game throught anyone, has a nice pvp system ( but the shmn lol). Do u know guys if i can invite some friends to play in a private server or its completely impossible? dont mean public hosting....

I'm waiting for Gigantic and Tom Clancy THE DIVISION to come out and hopefully I'll be still playing together with you all (Forge Veterans). Meanwhile the only game that's giving me some satisfaction is Loadout.... at first it might seem spamming everything, but once you get to the top players it has a lot in common with forge dynamics (LoS, Positioning, avoiding dmg, healers etcetc). If someone is ineterested in playing Loadout "FORGE STYLE" with me just hit me up.

p.s.: I just kinda came out from a period of playing Forge bot practice and being sad when I play anything else, as always.... it'll be the best gameplay we'll get for a loooong time I believe.
