Oblivion launcher don't recognize my graphic card
I got a NVIDIA GT 540M which is recognize by Fallout New Vegas launcher but not by Oblivion launcher.

I've been around the internet, some people said to use Oblivion MOd Manager but when I click Launch Game it doesn't launch anything.

The game only recognize my internal video card which suck for gaming.

Please, help me.
Thanks :P

your gt 540 /M\ is a mobile card right? if so that is why. Also something to keep in mind is the age of the game, like clear back in 06-07 is when it came out, So it isnt unreasonable to think it may have some issue recognizing modern hardware.

Yes it's a mobile card but is there any fix for that?

well, if the newer cards are using a different interface method than that would likely be the cause wouldnt it?
My point exactly.

I have a Lenovo Ideapad p400 touch and it says the same thing with my computer. I can run the game on ultra high with out a problem. Looks great.

Yeah, some computers have specs that Oblivion recognizes, silly old technology :/

I am having the same problem, I have a GTX 660 and keeps defaulting my card below HD and the game crashes right after the loading screen is done :(.

Yeah, like I said Oblivion is an old game and doesn't utilize most up-to-date GCs, your 660 is quite new so Oblivion will find it hard recognizing it.

You're quebecer Sophie? Salut du Québec :P

I'm gonna see what I can do, there is two things.
1. Modify the BIOS to stop my card processor from working
2. Put graphic on ultra high to see if it will take my normal gaming video card.
