Crash after launch

Hey Guys. I have been having a hankering for Morrowind and for the past few months whenever I try to launch the game from the launcher, a blank window pops up, then crashes a few seconds later. I have tried changing compatability modes(Windows 7, by the way), but in all of them it does the same thing, except for xp (service pack 2 and 3) gives me an error after launching saying "cannot launch, app already running" or something like that. I have tried reinstalling like 20 times. I ran as administrator. I have all the basic stuff. Nothing has worked so far. Please help!

try turning down the graphics, some actual error information would be of great help to

I fixed the problem by installing the MGE morrowind overhaul.
