Am I in the Minority?

Morrowind was my first Elderscrolls game. Yet I enjoyed Oblivion and Skyrim, I see a lot of Morrowind fans hating on the sequels. Am I one of the few that liked all 3 games?

I didn't like all 3. I liked 2 and loved 1. And that one is called Morrowind.

I enjoyed Oblivion and that one German mod Nerheim or some such. I never liked Skirim, it looked too derivative. Oh great, I get to fight in a European fantasy setting. And Dragons? Oh boy...

Most people who prefer Morrowind like it for it's unique atmosphere, lack of hand holding and cliff racers. Definately cliff racers...

I've played since Morrowind and love all 3 games. Morrowind definitely has the best atmosphere but the gameplay improvements in Oblivion and Skyrim make them infinitely more replayable than Morrowind.

I would say Oblivion is my favorite but Morrowind is a very close second with Skyrim trailing behind just a little bit. It would be nice if they made a game with the current gameplay and the depth and lore of Morrowind.

Oh and ♥♥♥♥ cliff racers.

I played Morrowind last so I enjoyed both Oblivion and Skyrim, at least until I played Morrowind and realized how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the sequels are.

I love morrowind (still playing it untill today, modding it and all)
I can barely stand oblivion, it was so much dummed down, I could barely withstand completing 1 run of the game, not even worth my time for a replay or modding.
and skyrim, proved they could get even worse than oblivion.. tossed it out of the window, not worth a second look.

I like morrowind and oblivion about the same but the best way of describing skyrim is as big as the ocean but as deep and a paddling pool. for me skyrim felt like poop from the stat.

I love all 3 ... I started with morrowind decades ago, playing it for hours at a time, sometimes 12 hours at a time, so have some really great memories of playing and dying ... It was a hard game, and a complicated one ...

Oblivion made everything easier and the whole elderscrolls lost some of its appeal (potion making the loss of spears and a few other skills) ...

and In it's own way skyrim is also an awesome game, but ... It's generic ... its like every other first person hack and slash fantasy style game there is ... It still has elder scrolls lore, but they've just removed all the things that made "elder scrolls ... elder scrolls" ...

It's not about making playability a challenge anymore, it's just all about making things look pretty .. and making them so simple even a carrot can play them ... but ... this is just my opinion

Morrowind was decent, Oblivion sucked, Skyrim was good. Never played the first 2 elder scrolls games

Oboy.... Daggerfall was epic.... Morrowind was unholy epic.... whilst the other 2....eh.....cant remember the names but oh well they were fine.

I thoroughly enjoyed all of them. They all have their own unique aspects to them and I can see why many people wouldn't like some of the sequals, but for me, I enjoyed all of them. I still haven't played daggerfall or arena though (the first two games of the elder scrolls series).

Im not so big into Skyrim or Oblivion but ive put over 1000 hours into Morrowind easy, not counting non steam versions and xbox (Lol). OpenMW should be finished this year and once again ill probably sink another 1000. All three games have wonderful music though
