Cant launch game after steam update

"kofxiii.exe has stopped working"

A month ago, the same error happened before I turned off the "Enable Steam Community In-Game" option in the game properties. That was my only solution. Now the option is turned off, and the error persists. I have -r -w -v in advanced launch options. Does anyone else have a problem after the update?

Seems like the memory errors from before come in waves. They come and go for no logical reason.

Works for me. Maybe you should try reinstalling Steam. Something might have gone wrong with the update. Delete everything from Steam folder, except Steam.exe, userdata and steamapps. Then launch Steam.
