still crashing
so i tried everything on the pinned posts on how to fix the game start up and it still crashes. i got it to work once perfectly and when i tried again a few hours later it wouldnt start back up. can anyone help me?

Try disabling the Steam Overlay for it.

Right click the game in your Steam's library and select properties. Then just untick the "Enable Steam community in-game"

I think the problem is in the Steam Overlay injector rather than in the game itself. Some other games have had this problem too, including Payday 2: the Heist.

Unfortunately, I think Valve is refusing to take any responsibility for this. I think I contacted them about this and, predictably, they told me to take it up with this game's developers.
