In the world of Insurgency, where tactics are key,
I launched into battle, as green as can be.
With my loadout selected and my team at my back,
I stepped into chaos, prepared for attack.

The first map was dusty, a war-torn old town,
Where every corner hid death, with a frown.
“Stick to cover!” my teammates did cry,
But I ran out in the open, waving goodbye.

Bullets flew past me, I ducked with a scream,
This tactical shooter felt more like a dream.
“Check your corners,” the veterans did shout,
But I sprinted ahead, and soon I was out.

Respawning is crucial, in waves we return,
But I spawned in the open, and promptly got burned.
Old gamer secrets, whispered and told,
“Always check rooftops,” the wise ones foretold.

The weapons are many, with recoil a beast,
I sprayed and I prayed, but my kill count decreased.
“Single shots!” they all advised,
But I emptied my mag, feeling quite despised.

Grenades are handy, but throw with care,
I tossed one blindly, filling my team with despair.
“Watch your fire!” came the frantic plea,
As I lobbed another, blowing up a tree.

The modes are intense, from Push to Checkpoint,
But my tactical skills were sorely out of joint.
“Hold the objective,” my squad did proclaim,
But I wandered off, lost in the game.

Multiplayer matches, a blend of pure stress,
Where communication is key, and I’m a hot mess.
“Use your mic!” they’d sternly remind,
But I mumbled and fumbled, a step far behind.

The community’s hardcore, with patience so thin,
They raged at my antics, as I brought us to chagrin.
“Git gud,” they all jeered, in their salty refrain,
But I struggled and stumbled, again and again.

Stealth is a tactic, moving slow with grace,
But I charged in guns blazing, and fell on my face.
“Crouch and walk,” the old-timers advised,
But I sprinted and shouted, much to their surprise.

Friendly fire’s on, a feature quite bold,
I shot my own teammates, a story retold.
“Watch your aim!” they all hollered loud,
As I downed half our squad, feeling unbowed.

Base captures and holds, the game’s main delight,
But I camped in a corner, hiding in fright.
“Play the objective,” the leaders did moan,
But I sat in the shadows, completely alone.

Despite all my failings, I kept coming back,
To Insurgency’s challenges, I was drawn like a tack.
For every death and blunder, a lesson to learn,
In this tactical hellscape, I found a strange yearn.

So here’s to Insurgency, a game so tough,
Where every match is gritty and rough.
In the world of shooters, it stands alone,
A battlefield harsh, where noobs must atone.

With glitches and bugs, and hit detection woes,
It’s a journey of pain, as every gamer knows.
But amidst all the chaos, there’s fun to be had,
In this wild, tactical playground, both good and bad.

very unique gameplay, best gun customization system in any game in my opinion, and some really intense combat

After hundreds of hour poured into this game, I can safely say that this game still relevant and you can enjoy playing the game too. Just explore the server, find out which one sticks to you, and spent countless of your mortal life hours on the server just to socialize while trying to build a good teamwork and establish a stable cooperation. Overall I gave this game 8,5/10 based on my experience

You can shoot arabs here, but I recommend to play sandstorm instead cuz insurgency is dead

it's a very good and realistic game but the problem is that only marksman rifles and rifles are the only good weapons but overall it's very good game so just buy this game it's only 5€ but if you're seeing this review it probably cost like 10€ now so yeah oh and btw some players are really toxic but it's not that big of a problem :)

People haven't gotten off the game since it came out.

Despite being a decade old, Insurgency is still a great arcade shooter that offers plenty of easy going matches for a semi-hardcore shooter experience. Personally I prefer this version to it's sequel; Insurgency: Sandstorm but that's just personal taste. Only issue is that if you don't play during peak hours you'll struggle to find a full match.

Incredibly amazing game, infinitly modable and made with passion, sadly all of this doesnt carry to its sequel which is just a money grab realistic FPS turned to CoD...
