Community is small but growing with each update. It's a little more challenging than the typical FPS ... which ends up being a good thing because it keeps the "other game" fanboys away. Coop games are quite good and offer a challenge as well as a decent way to learn the game to prepare new players for PvP.

Honestly, it's a good time to get into the game and the price is very reasonable. Some of my friends play many, many hours each day.

it's easily a $30-40 game. this coming from a cheapskate that waits for summer and xmas sales for games to go down to $5 or less (well, they're old a s s games , why should i have to pay $20.00 for a game from 2002?)

I have been enjoying PvP and picking up tips to improve. There are some jerks, just as there are with any PvP game, but overall it is a great game and a lot of fun. From the comments it sounds like I will need to check out Co-op as well.

I've gotten more enjoyment out of this game than I have with every single multiplayer first person shooter I've purchased in the past five years. The value is here both in content and how much you'll enjoy it.

you pretty much answered what he asked.

$30-40 for a a game i see myself playing for hundreds of hours in the future.

quality maps, animations and gameplay.

free stuff (maps and other things) POST PURCHASE.


other games come out for $60, buggy as hell, with Day 1 DLC, with huge whiny communities, and because they're trying to compete with everything else, they dumb down the game to the point that it's just ridiculous.
