Crash Access violation

I keep having a crash violation and i think its a steam problem becuase my game opened for the first time today in like two months but crashed again when i tried to make it full screen. I need help whats the problem becuase its not my drivers like eugen says.

Try changing the resolution or DirectX setting. After this, you might be able to change to full screen without crashing.

Thank you but i cant find my Directx setting and i think that may not fix it.

I also had this problem, I reset to default and afterwards did NOT use the autosettings the game offered and was fine after. The graphics presets are your friend...

Many people have this issue including myself and all my friends with different hardware; haven't heard from EugSupport in 3 weeks about this issue. Please help. I've posted pics, dxdiag, dumps, minidumps, etc. Still no assistance.

i get the same thing to does any one have it where as your playing it blanks out and goes to your desktop and you cant do anything this is happening to me alot

I fixed it by upgrading my nvidia graphic drivers guys

It's Steam's Beta Updating..
Go to Steam > Settings > Beta Part. > Opt out of all beta programs > Restart Steam.

Had the same problem with six other friends, did the same thing, fixed it.

WOOHOO I FIXED IT! you go to your video settings and switch to directx9 and then go to fullscreen. i dont know if i have dx11 or not buy try switching those 2
