This game is great, but badly flawed. It needs native team speak.

It's almost useless trying to play with any sort of strategy without it. Additionally the chat mechanism sucks because it doesn't pop up in big and bold letters to your allies so they know what the heck is going on. Just finished a game were int turned into the typical siege warfare and I was trying to talk to this othe3rwise good player for 25 minutes and he never got the message. It's really a stupid stupid ommission by the designers.

I disagree simply because 95% of the players I have played with in both 10v10 and normal versus mostly refuse to talk.

No idea why, but people are not very talkative ingame.

^ I don't have this game ,but it was the same in Wargame European Escalation. Some people just refuse to talk and many times you lose because of them. Pretty annoying.

I would agree partially. Any type of better communication options would be a plus. Native teamspeak woud definitely help or maybe just give us a more intuitive chat option. No one uses it because you don't have time to click twice before you even start typing. And why is "all" the default? An always on team chat option would help a lot in game and you might actually start to get to know the people you are playing with.

I say that with the full knowledge that this is never going to happen.

If you want to communicate with other players, the trick is to add people during a 10v10 and get to know them. Use Steam's built in voice chat and invite people into a party. Discuss a strategy before you start up the game. No point in both of you have identical units when you can use multiple decks to your advantage, right?

I understand what you're saying about the basic need to communicate your strategy to the others in a public game, but people in public games are mostly just learning the ropes still and are will be easily daunted.
