They are units, Its on a much bigger scale than WiC. You control airplanes and arty, no "powers"

Not a sim by a long shot. "Authentic" might be a better word.

And It's nothing like WiC except maybe for some very basic mechanics.

This one is more global. You have something between Batallion and Regiment under control and pretty big map.

It does. They're just not powers you use. There are individual bomber and fighter aircraft in the game. Once you buy them so to say, they stay with you forever and if you lose them, you lose them, you dont get anymore for the rest of the match. Same thing with all the units in the game.
