On a scale of 1-10 I would go with 7.
It will confuse you greatly at first, but with patience (and reading strategy guides/info online) you will slowly start to learn it enough to stop your confusion. After you learn it you will see how horrible most other RTS games are compared to this. It is really a great game, very detailed with alot of information but well worth getting and learning it.
I usually am not a fan of RTS games, I've played Warcraft 3 (liked it), Command and Conquer Generals (liked it), Age of Empires (hated it), Age of Mythology (it was ok), and Starcraft 2 (it was ok but not as much fun as I thought it would be). I read about this game for about 20-30 days before buying it, and since I got it I am still learning stuff but I can't imagine going back to a regular RTS again after playing a game this good.
If you get it friend me and we can play some games against the computer and I will help you figure out most of the main things to get you up and running.
been playing wargames for 30 years on boards ,computer and else so i think i know what i am talking about. ii would of love to play my boards game againts these you guys and beat the crapt out of them.
Luc, you sound like my kind of gamer. I'm interested in playing the game using real life tactics and strategy (and I frankly have a lot to learn and welcome the chance) with a good group of people. If you see this message, I invite you to add me as a friend on steam. I am usually available a few nights a week. Thank you!
