Seems like Red Dragon will be Airland Battle SuperPlusPlus so I'm wondering if I should just wait.

Nah, I'm not a serial complainer like most gamers these days, just want to know if its worth my time and money with a new release around the corner.

yes it is, campaign sucks in my opinion but hell for some online battle's or some serious skirmish its a killer game the best in its range i would say

It is an awesome game. Having played more than 150 games i can say this is perhaps my favourite one (if you go for online). I would get get it, red dragon is still "long" way, and i can ensure you that if you get familiar with this wargame, it will help you in red dragon.

Btw Id buy both european escalation and airland battle since each one is enjoyable in its own way. EE is good for single player and does a better job teaching the basics plus there are still a few multi players. The single player in alb isn't the best but the multiplayer is fun, fairly active, and it adds aircraft.,Red Dragon will continue building on the title and will add navies.

You can if you want...but if you do want to play Wargames just buy airland battle and recieve the probable discount from owning it for Red Dragon
