What do you think about the fate spirits?
I don't really remember, it's been a while since I played.
And, about Nella, she was too calm, too focused, compared to other character she was kinda blank, maybe all of that was an act.
But the "Lockshy take control" is a really good guess, she did broke her contract with him.
And about Motcha, i don't think their the same spirit, he's a shaman orc not a "fate weaver" or something like this, so the spirit he where talking was probably earth and elemental spirit or thing like that.
When they are scowering the library for contracts Nella's isn't there; it's not as if she could fake it not being there because it is Leck Lorus who is searching for it.
Therefore, some possibilities arise:
1) Nella is not her mother given name, as this is what Leck Lorus requested in order to find each person's contract. (Credit to girlfriend for noticing this!)
2) Lockshy purposefully found and stole Nella's contract so it could not be destroyed. Why is a mystery.
Either Lockshy succeeded and this would open room for a sequel where the rest of the wheelswords (who destroyed their contracts, unlike Nella, and thus likely are not affected by Lockshy) would fight back. Or this was simply meant to be a negative ending!
As Lockshy sounded pretty uninterested about what the mashine was for originally it makes me think he actually had nothing to do wih this. Leaving Nella as either the new god or possessedby the old gods. Perhaps because those who broke free of the gods found themselves in a world they regretted making.
Anyhow, the game leaves it up in question regardless.
