Attempting to set Pre pedal freezes game

One of the current 'missions' I have in game is to set a pedal in the Tone Designer, but every time I enter the 'Pre' setting, the game freezes. I can still play the guitar and heat it come out the in game amp, and the mouse moves around fine, but I can't select anything and end up having to Ctrl+Alt+Del>Task Manager to get out of it.
Is anyone else having this problem, and if so, has anybody come up with any patches or work arounds?
The game works fine otherwise, I've not been having any other issues besides this so far.

I am having this problem. Plus I have to shut Steam and re open because when I try to launch Rocksmith is says Rocksmith is already running even though no Rocksmith Process is task manager..........................

Yep almost same problem over here, disconnecting all joysticks or simular devices solved the problem.

yep, discconect/disable everything except the keyboard, mouse, RT cable and monitor/TV. Make sure you dont have a sound card that has its own software runnign that create effects as well. That was a problem on one of my systems.

Not sure what you mean by "Pre" settings. But i assume you just mean the tone designer where you would pick your rack, eq, pedals and such. I hope you get it fixed cause there is like 15 pedals you have to go through on those linier missions.

The computer I've been forced to play on is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hp allinone touchscreen thing, it uses a wireless mouse and keyboard. There's no joysticks or game related attachments, but there's a printer and 3 external harddrives (not mine).
God, I wish my laptop were working, I wouldn't be having half the issues I've had with this crap family computer.

I'll disconnect everything next time I play, thanks for the advice.
