Also the Seth Chapla songs are no real lost.
Because once I've bought the disk importer I'm not going to be able to play them on the Original Rocksmith? Also Pat's got a point, the Chapla songs are not a massive loss, Cream's Sunshine of Your Love is a bit of a loss, but...
I CAN PLAY it...all I have to do is play the original Rocksmith and ALL these songs are still there...
But i spent money for importing them all to the 2014 game.
Who in the world reads a FAQ before u buy a "DLC" so this point seems pretty useless...
The thing is, the music industry only gives out licences for one game title, if you want licences for the sequel (e.g. Rocksmith 2014), you'll have to renegotiate and sometimes it happens that some artists don't want to prolong the licences for the song for the sequel. This has happened in this case with 5 songs.
However, as with many things in this world, there is information available on this matter of the five missing songs and as with many things I'd recommend to first look for information and then make an informed decission, instead of just running ahead, buying blindly or wanting all that information just there for consumption.
This world is not an ideal world and people should learn to adapt to and with it and start learning from their mistakes, which is actually one of the main sources of learning or at least it has been in the past. Nowaday it seems everyone is entitled to everything and no one makes any mistakes themselves anymore or if they do its always somebody elses fault.
Anyone that wants to understand what they're spending their money on. Why you would blame Ubisoft or Steam because you didn't read is beyond me.
I agree that there should have been/should be information on the store page. But, if you walked into a car dealership, would you buy a car without a "sticker" on the window telling you what's in it? No, you'd either walk away, or find out more information from other sources. If you purchased it without information, and it had no engine, it would be your fault.
The reason that i opened the thread is not about flaming. It´s just i case that i feel i little bit twitted about that.
@rogue the information that is given is that this item imports the songs from the first rocksmith to the 2014 edition. By the way the comparison with the car is very bad and not even legal... just immoral
Maybe my comparison is bad, maybe not. I'm not the one that buys something without first checking into it.
