at first i thought he was using an octive shifter
it has 14 dislikes how is that even possible
I was wondering how the hell this could get 14 dislikes. Some people just can't accept someone has more talent then them. Just Jealous!
Why 14 Dislikes... I think it's become cool or fashonable to be reduculously cruel to people when you offer critizim. So, you got 14 wanabe's who probably can't come even in the ballpark with this guy.
This is just infuriatingly good.
Thanks for sharing !
absolutly cool stuff far from my reach but not out of reach ;-)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UN177ZNteQM&list=RDUN177ZNteQM#t=114 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ts0trO59Du8&list=RDUN177ZNteQM&index=3
Figure when I finally get to a level I am happy with myself I will give bass a go.
Then I see that video, yeah bass does not look any easier at all, that was awesome.
Not everyone has the same taste in music.
But even saying that, I still think that you can easily appreciate a musician and thier music for what it is, even if it doesn't appeal to one's personal tastes.
I mean, for example, I'm not a fan of Victor Wooten or Billy Sheenan, but I recognize that they are both phenomenally talented bassists
Uninformed people have been saying things like that for years. Don't listen to them, they have NO idea what they are talking about.
I would highly suggest you try playing some songs on emulated bass. Certainly, there are tons of Bassist out there like Grant (amongst other giants) who can readily whip their Bass into a wonderful solo or lead instrument, but Bass is, by far and away, primarily a Rythmn instrument. Playing some songs yourself will help you to get a better appreciation for how Bassists compose their parts in order to best accuentuate parts of the song to give it a fullness and richness that it would otherwise lack.
I'd suggest trying REM's "Losing My Religion". It's a relatively simple bass line, which illustrates my point pretty succinctly.
And maybe, just maybe you'll find you enjoy Bass enough to pick up a cheap starter Bass and go deeper (HAHA!) into it.
You could give away free money on the internet and somebody would give it a dislike.
