Game not starting anymore

The Game has been refusing to start for me. I last played sometime in Octobre.

Whenever I click "Play" it says "Preparing to launch", but nothing happens. When I try to directly start it via the SteamApps folder, nothing happens at all either.

I know this may sound obvious but have you tried verifying the integrity of the game cache?

Yes, that's the very first thing I did. I also reinstalled it completely, still the same problem.

Are you running Linux or Windows? If you are running Win it's most probably that this is due to some configuration you changed since October, that, or that the files of a recently installed program are conflicting with Super Hexagon's. I have had this problem a couple of times before with other games and it usually turned out to be that kind of thing. If you did not change anything my advice is you try to rememeber if you have installed any new programs that could have changed any system config. and reverse it to its prior state or directly uninstall the program and try launching the game. It may be messy but I can't think of anything else. :P

And I haven't actually installed anything new the past few months xD

Then I don't know what could be causing the "error" :S If you were on linux I'd recommend you start the game from the console and look up for the outcome but since you are on Win7... I'm sorry I can't help you further but I really hope you get to solve your problem :) Best of luck!

It also somehow deleted the game, along with the file... So I can't even play the game...
