Trine 2 stereoscopic 3D
Just wondering if anyone has been able to run Trine 2 in 3D. I have two ViewSonic V3D231 monitors currently on my rig. The problem is I have no idea how to get Trine 2 to run in 3D mode or if stereoscopic 3D is even available on the Linux version yet.

I also want to run it in stereo, it looks gorgeous in Windows by the way! Any news on how to do this?
I have tried to manually enable stereo in the options.txt file, however it does appear that Frozenbyte implemented stereo rendering in the OpenGL version of the game.

If you would like to give it a shot on your rig edit ~/.frozenbyte/Trine2/options.txt

Change:
"ManualStereoEnabled" from "false" to "true"
"ManualStereoMode" to the correct option for your screen. You'll have to check you windows version options.txt to find out what it should be set to. Setting it to "2" should enable 3D in horizontal interlaced mode.
Do you know were the config options are in windows by any chance?
Found it, will try it soon, thanks for your help! This is actually the best 3d game that I have ever played, it's not saying much but there it is.
Does not work, unfortunately...
Stereo3D for games is not available under linux. The only method i know about working under linux is angylphe 3D. Other methods are only available to users owning high end graphicadaptors like nvidia quadro. The raeson for this is that soho cards like the geforce series not supporting "quadbuffer" under OpenGL.

If that is the only reason then we could try this[hackaday.com].
On an other note Stereo 3D on Linux can also be done through side by side format as well as interlaced. Both of which are formats accepted by most Stereo 3D monitors. So there should be no reason why these formats shouldn't be usable under Linux.

Unigine benchmarks Heaven and Valley are working in 3D on linux.
Oilrush is only working in anaglyphe but may be they will implement other 3D option in a futur update.
