got Source Filmmaker working on Debian(SteamOS Desktop) via Wine probably

I'm on SteamOS and SFM is working via wine in a sort of usable way
I certainly got excited about this haha
here's what I tried:
Put on Windows in virtualbox
Made a share folder with virtualbox
Installed SFM in the virtualbox windows
grabbed the whole Source Filmmaker folder out of the virtual windows and copied it into the shared folder
got wine on linux, navigated to the sfm.exe in the shared folder, did:
wine sfm.exe -nosteam -usevgui
hey presto works for me!
I am going to marry '-usevgui' I swear... (sfm was just visual artifacts without it)
what do you people reckon? any questions?

edit: downside is model browser was stuffed and it froze my whole linux so many times that the OS broke itself and rest in pieces back to win 10 with linux dual boot : //
