Legend of Grimrock- Great, if you are looking old school dungeon crawler RPG with pretty graphics.

Book of Unwritten Tales- Point and clisk adventure and a fairly good one, but the Linux version has a few bugs, and it seems we need to annoy the devs to fix them.

Don't Starve- servival game with light rpg elements, and a very original art style

Anna: Extended Edition- Annother adventure game with a horror theme the "extended edition" addresses most of the problems I had with the original.

All the Half Life games- If you havn't bought these yet, shame on you.

I see only half-life 1 listed as a linux game, the rest only have win or mac logos on them, are they still ported even though they don't show up as linux games or what? I'm a newbie to steam and it's very confusing :S

Dont Starve , The Cave , iBomber .... BUT !!! I was gifted them and they were purchased on a Windows computer !!! So they wont even count as a Linux game purchase.

This. Also Valve doesn't deserve my money anymore.

Why?

Bought most of the games I wanted on Linux already. I hope developers port more games so that I actually have more to buy. It makes me a little sad to see all these games on sale when so few have Linux support.

Bought myself L4D2 last weekend when it was on sale. I bought iBomber during the current sale for about 40p, I'm surprised how many hours I've already put into it.

Bastion, Orange Box
Some double fine games that i didn't have yet (the cave, costume quest, stacking)
Also got me defender's quest, eschalon and kinetic void
Now i'm waiting for a bigger sale on that second book of unwritten tales game and abaddon (if not i'll get them last day) - also kerbal space program, which i just bought :D.

All in all it will be a very cheap sale for me compared to the previous ones. It's glaringly obvious now how few games have linux support...

You know, the usual stuff people don't like. Forcing community crap instead of improving the basic service, banning people for no apparent reason, crappy support, making more and more restrictive SSA, becoming a hat business while they used to make games etc. The SSA is the most important of all I think. They're no longer user friendly, just a business like any other.
