Steam Client for Linux Translation Crash
Hi all.

I recently set my Debian language to Esperanto as I've been learning it and I discovered that if I try to run Steam, it closes either without opening a window or sometimes flashes a window for an instant and then it closes. However, I can run it with `LANG=en_US` or similar and then it does successfully run.

Running it in the terminal, without setting the LANG environment variable, I get the following error message:
<Output trimmed until here> Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(1373418487_client) Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(1373418487_client) Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(1373418487_client) Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(1373418487_client) Steam: An X Error occurred X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation) Major opcode of failed request: 18 (X_ChangeProperty) Value in failed request: 0x0 Serial number of failed request: 105

I suspect this is a secondary symptom though.

It's not a huge deal to me, just inconvenient to have to run it with the extra flag. Additionally I thought it important Valve be aware of the bug.

Thanks,
-Maiku
