Linux Game Availability
Ok, Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't for the life of me see what it is. I keep hearing about new games being made available on Linux, but when I go to look they aren't there. For example, I want to buy Portal, Supposedly it is out of Beta and can be bought, but If I go to the Portal page it doesn't list Linux as one of the platforms ?

Am I missing something ?

The store page hasn't been updated yet. The games currently available are the orange box, every goldsrc game, cs:source, dod:source and l4d2 is still in beta.

You can buy the beta games and play it right now or else you won't see them.

Where do you buy the beta games ?
I can't find them from the steam client. (which really does have a terrible UI in my opinion)

To get the beta linux version of something like HL2, just go to the HL2 store page and buy it. It will show up in your library (even if it does not have a linux icon yet). There are no separate linux version pages. Steam has a buy once run on whatever platform you want policy.
