Dialog Boxes Scrambled?

When I try to change the location that TF2 is going to get installed to it prompts me to select a folder, but when I do it pops up a dialog box that is completely scrambled. I've tried clicking in the locations where I think the OK button should be, but I get nothing.

I'm on Linux Mint 14 x64 with Cinnamon and I'm running a AMD card with the latest opensource driver.

As a workaround, you could install it to the default location, move it to where you want it, and symlink the new location. I've done this with so many things on my system now, it's getting kinda scary.
