Click on "View the file list for steam". The files and directories should be the same on other distros. I think it is easiest to just change the icon file with a copy of the faenza icon in the same size as PNG.
The Faenza Icon for Steam looks awesome. It was part of the icon pack long before people even started rumors that there might be native Steam for Linux one day.
It's Faience pack, not Faenza. Tho it's by same author. Both packs are pretty much best looking icons in the universe in my humble opinion :)

I used to have it too, but now I'm using this:
GTK theme - MediterraneanLightDarkest

Gnome Shell theme - Elegance Colors (inherits colors from GTK, Wallpaper or you can set yourself)

Icon pack - Faience Azur (blue one)
