Market share is driven by how many users actually use the products of a company. If a company ported their (in this case) games to Linux, then their market share will grow and more users would be willing to use Linux because of this, thus increasing the overall market share of both Linux and the game developer companies. Although, Linux is still popular without Bioshock in which case it's your own loss if you don't port any game to Linux because you feel Windows is your tool to success.
Although, as a counterargument, I think one would want to avoid the use of the term 'Linux' since there are different 'sides' of Linux. The most popular branch of Linux lies under the Ubuntu-like OS' and because more users use Ubuntu-like OS' than other distros, you'd want to port the game specifically under the aforementioned branch rather than some random distro.
Thoughts?
Silly question. If you want the game on your platform, of course you should ask for it. They won't know the demand unless you, well, "demand" it :)
I make it a habit of e-mailing or trying to contact companies that I'd like to play the games of now. You all should too. It'll increase the visibility of Linux as a gaming platform and give them an idea of whether or not it would be worth it to port their games.
So as unfortunate as it is, we might never see a Linux port of Infinite and other AAA games.
Curses. I'll never be able to toss my W7 partition. :(

OP, if you would include this in your post, and ask everyone here to post there too? Let's get some visibility!
