Both are pretty much confirmed coming to Linux, should be within 2 weeks that this game comes out if they have it registered in the SteamDB under Linux.

Well XCOM is in the SteamDB so that itself is a confirmation, considering that this is a 2K game and there's already been rumors that Civ 5 was coming, the recent Amazon 'slip-up' putting both these games for Linux on Steam, and Steam OS shown running Civ 5 in screenshots, I consider it a confirmation. I would be very surprised if it wasn't coming after all this.
