CryEngine for Linux at GDC
Hey guys, it was already known that the CryEngine would come to Linux, but not when.
I just wanted to let you guys know that *the* state-of-the-art gaming engine is now ported far enough to be shown.

It would be nice to see Crysis on Linux. It is like the PC Halo... but way kickass better.

Awesome. I don't know how many developer will port their older CryEngine games but hopefully they'll build their new ones with multiple OSs in mind now that the engine supports it.

I think it can really help porting more AAA games to SteamOS. Go Valve!

EA likes their money. Hence Origin. But you could try running older Crysis(Crysises?) in WINE. Then email EA w/ screenshots of you doing that. It makes them snap their pencils :D
