Crytek SDK Showed up on SteamDB

here i was building a game with Unity3D and now the Crytek SDK pops up hmm this means we may soon have support in Crytek games :)

I know some people love to play around with SDKs, game engines, level building tools etc., but most people would welcome Crytek games more than an SDK. Any rumors about Far Cry and Crysis games coming or will they just toss an SDK at linux users so they can make their own linux games while earning money for Crytek?

you can build free to paly games with it long as the game is free and you are not making any thing off from it you don't have to pay them :)

Probably the latter. Either way, it's good news. I'd like to see a port of Crysis[123] but I expect there isn't the resource to do it. New, multiplatform games, perhaps.

Considering that all of Crytek's games are tied up with either Ubisoft or EA, and all but the first Far Cry game not even being made by Crytek, I doubt there's much chance of a port even if they wanted to do it. And in the case of Crysis, they wouldn't be on Steam anyway; they'd be Origin exclusive because EA.
