V10 is out!!!

i have got to give the devs some credit on v10 its a nice improvement!

heck just to start the new stockpile interface is Nice. gets in the way a tad but having the data from the stockpile screen and being able to set multiple items with out closing was a very requested feature.

there is probably more but my townies got eatten by a Werepig........ next Town!!!!!

Doesn't seem to be uploaded to Steam yet. I tried loading the game up to see what the new interface was and it was still v9b. Oh well, guess i'll get to see it soon enough.

Next they just need to add a hero shop and deal with the equipment screen and i'll be pretty happy with the UI for the game (assuming those and the stockpile changes are actually good of course.) Naturally that doesn't mean i'd be happy with the game in general as there would still be issues with the AI but i'd certainly be a lot happier with it than I am now.

It took me to go to my library and manually start the patch for v10 to show up.

Ah, well ok then. Took a look at the new interface and it's pretty good. It's a bit more intrusive than I would have liked, covering up the entire screen like that, but it's certainly better than what we used to have to deal with. Really all they needed to do was add the ability to make multiple alterations to the old interface and that would have been fine.

I like it so far. I wonder if the add/remove water will go away soon now that water can be channeled properly? The best moment for me was when I saw boots of haste show up in a merchent's inventory for sale ^.^ so overdue, and I am so glad to see that. Shame about corpses, though. I'll miss haveing ghost swarms arround, giveing me thiiiings (which is why they did it, i'm sure)

edit: the old corpses still seem to auto-produce ghosts indefinatly. Hmm.

its funny how steam hasn't uploaded the files to the news feed for towns yet seeing how it has had 3 updates within the last 48 hours.
V10b came out today.
