Hi, I'm the new guy!

Hi everyone, my name is Moebius and I'm in charge now for the ongoing development of Towns.

As of now we have just released a new update that fixes a few things especially concerning Mac computers.

I hope you understand that this was a pressing matter and also that I need some time to work into the code that was handed to me. So I thought it might not be the best idea to integrate a lot of features that will most likely not work correctly, just because I don't know every corner of the code yet. But of course I plan to implement some cool new features in the near future. So stay tuned.

First of all. I'd like to say how happy I am to have you working on the project. I really want Towns to be fun and enjoyable. I've sank so many hours into the game and I still believe that it can be better than it is.

So I'm welcoming you. Everyone else might like throw tomatoes or something. You're walking into a thorn bush my friend, but walk into it thinking this.... you can only make things better.

Awesome! :) I thought that Towns was great game and then I heard developer abandoned the project despite the great audience. When I personally saw some problems when playing (some pathfinding difficulties with soldiers...) I left the game, but still: "people are still playing this" Great to hear about you :) God bless you

No reason to "throw tomatoes" at moebius. The current state of the game (and its questionable "release") has nothing to do with him.

I just about died launghing at that comment about "a huge passionate fanbase" cause that is so far from the truth it's.. well.. laughable.

#1: How did you end up in change of Towns development?

Well, I can answer that one at least. Xavi (the owner of SMP and original programmer for Towns) hired him to take over when he got burned out. He nearly cancelled development entirely but was talked into hiring someone over on the official forums.
