No saves in the steam cloud?

nice... i just reinstalled jack lumber to try getting the polar bear lvl on plat. (achievement ocd) and now i see i have to redo everything. what the ♥♥♥♥ -___-

question for the dev: do you have to pay valve to have cloud saves in your game or what is keeping some devs from implemnting it? recently noticed that dark souls 2 und 3 also dont have cloud saves

7 years later and the dev still has no Cloud Saves. I guess I'll have to manually back up my save.
